In May 2015 TIS published the second Ranking of transparency in companies owned by public sector. In this project we evaluated 81 Slovak companies, 46 of which were state-owned companies, 31 city-owned and 4 were county-owned companies. We compared the results of our companies with the practices in the companies with private capital and in the companies owned by public sector abroad. The publication also contains Legal analysis – How to oversight companies owned by public sector? We also prepared a series of recommendations for public companies, which want to improve their transparency.
